This variety is suitable for both summer and rainy seasons. The yield potential is around 140-150 q/ha. The variety is resistant to both YVMV and OLCV, while moderately tolerant to major pests under field conditions. Plants are medium-tall with short internodes along with 2 to 3 branches. Fruits are medium, dark-green, easily cooked, good for both table and export purposes. This is an early maturing variety developed through pedigree selection from the cross P 1542 x VT-2-1. Plant height is 47-51 cm, first flower 32 days after sowing, bears 7-8 pods per plant. Pods are 8-9 cm long, attractive, length 8-9 cm, well filled with 8-9 seeds, shelling percentage 47-48; yield 110-120 q/ha. It is tolerant to leaf miner and pod borer.

It is an early maturing powdery mildew resistant variety developed through pedigree selection from the cross No. 7 x PM-5. Plant height is 50-53 cm and 50% plants bear flowers at 35-36 days after sowing. Pods are 8.5-9 cm long, attractive filled with 8-9 bold soft textured seeds, selling percentage 48-49 and yield 110-120 q/ha.

This is a photo-insensitive variety. Plants of this variety are dwarf and bushy, height 40-50 cm, branches 4-5 per plant, early flowering (30-35 days after sowing), first harvesting at 40-45 days after sowing, produces 40-45 pods per plant. Pods are 30-35 cm long, light green, soft, fleshy and free from parchment. The cultivar is resistant to golden mosaic virus and Pseudocercospora cruenta, and gives green pod yield of about 125-150 q/ ha.

This is a bush type, dwarf, photo-insensitive and early variety suitable for growing in both spring-summer and rainy seasons. Flowering starts in 35-38 days and pods get ready for harvest in 45-48 days after sowing. Pods are about 25 cm long, light green, soft, fleshy and free from parchment. The cultivar is resistant to golden mosaic virus and Pseudocercospora cruenta, and gives green pod yield of about 100-120 q/ ha.

Plant height is 130-150 cm with 2-3 effective branches, flowering at 42 days after sowing at 3rd to 4th nodes. A plant bears 18-25 fruits with seven ridges, length 13-15 cm at marketable stage and yield 110-140 q/ha,resistant to YVMV under field conditions. This has been notified during the XII meeting of Central Sub Committee on Crop Standard Notification and Release of Varieties for Horticultural Crops for the cultivation in U.P., and Jharkhand.

This variety has been developed through pure line selection. Plants are tall, height 120-125 cm, flowers at 4 to 5 node after 40-42 days after sowing, fruits five ridges, light green; yield 130 -150 q/ha. This is resistant to YVMV and OLCV under field conditions and stands high temperature during summer season. This has been identified for the cultivation and release through AICRP for the cultivation in Punjab, U.P. Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, Orissa and A.P.

This variety is derived from the cross between NDPK-24 x PKM through pedigree selection. Vines are short, leaves dark green with white spots. Fruits are green, spherical, weight 2.5-3.0 kg at green stage; yield of 300-350 q/ha in 65 days of crop duration. This has been identified by UP State Horticultural Seed Sub Committee and notified during the XII meeting of Central Sub Committee on Crop Standard Notification and Release of Varieties for Horticultural Crops for the cultivation in U.P., Punjab, and Jharkhand.
