Semi-pole type, tolerant to low temperature and DYMV. It can give yield of 18-20 t/ha. Variety is rich in protein 590.8mg/g and low in total sugar 0.621g/100g. Yield 182.06. Recommended for cultivation in Uttar Pradesh, vide gazette notification number S.O. 692(E), dated 05.02.2019.

• Well rotten FYM@ 10-15t/ha is mixed in the field 15 days before seed sowing. Nitrogen, phosphorous and potash are applied in the ratio of 20-30: 40-50: 40-50 kg/ha. 10-15 Kg/ha nitrogen (22-33 kg urea/ha), 40-50 kg/ha phosphorous (260- 325 kg/ha superphosphate single) and 40-50 ka potash (64-80 kg/ha muriate of potash) are applied as basal application at the time of sowing. Remaining 10-15 kg/ ha nitrogen (22-33 kg urea/ha) is applied 35-40 days after seed sowing around plants leaving 10cm.
