On 15th September, 2017, “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign was launched at ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi with the Administration of the “Swacchata Shapath” to all staff by the Director, ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi at 03.30 P.M. in the entrance porch of the main Administrative Building. Dr. Bijendra Singh, Director, ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi, outlined the action plan of the Institute during the ongoing campaign from September 15th to 2nd October, 2017.
Thereafter, all the staff took massive cleanliness drive in the back portion of the main Administrative Building. The zeal and enthusiasm of the staff measured no heights. The staff vowed to continue their striving endeavour towards achievement of a Clean and Hygienic India.
