• Sowing: 25th October to 20th November.
• The average seed rate is 140-150kg/ha.
• Fertilizer: Nitrogen requirement 40-50 kg N, 70-80 kg each of P2O5 and K2O is sufficient for one hectare.
• Sowing can be done at a spacing of 30 cm between rows and 10 cm between plants.
