Kashi Poi-2

Fast growing variety with bush type, green stems and leaves. Suitable for making saag, pakode, soup etc. Excellent source of Antioxidant 24.8 μ mol TE/g FW with slightly lower oxalate content 566.0 mg/100g FW. First picking starts 38-40 days after transplanting and continues up to 140-150 days at 20-30 days interval. High yielding bush type genotype with yield of 63.5 t/ha.   • Seed rate: 6.5-7.5 kg/ha
  • Sowing: Preferably sowing should be done in plug-trays about 40 days before transplanting.
  • Transplanting should be done at 60x40 cm on ridges.

  • Fertilizer: NPK @ 50-50-50 kg/ha
