In order to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was observed in ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi on 31st October, 2017 under the dynamic leadership of Dr. B Singh, Director of the Institute. The Director emphasized the significance of unity and integrity among the people for peace as well as progress of the country. He further administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to all the scientific and administrative staff of the institute.
